n8n: "Allowed HTTP Request Domains" Restriction Bypass via AI Agents MCP Connector

n8n is an open source workflow automation platform. Prior to 2.27.4 and 2.28.1, the AI Agents feature did not enforce the Allowed HTTP Request Domains restriction configured on credentials when an MCP tool was pointed at an arbitrary URL, allowing a member-level user with use-only access to a shared credential to send its secret to an external server they control. This issue is fixed in versions 2.27.4 and 2.28.1.

Multiple RBAC issues in XAPI

[This CNA information record relates to multiple CVEs; the text explains which aspects/vulnerabilities correspond to which CVE.] XAPI can configure different users with different roles, using Role Based Access Control. For more details, see: https://docs.xenserver.com/en-us/xencenter/current-release/rbac-overview.html#rbac-roles The pool-admin role is fully privileged. Notably, users with this role can also SSH into the host as root. The other administrator roles are pool-operator, vm-power-admin and vm-admin, each of which are authorised to configure and manage various aspects of the system. Some settings are inadequately restricted, and can be set by a lower privilege of administrator than expected. * CVE-2026-23559: A vm-admin can set VBD.other_config:backend-local and turn arbitrary files in dom0 into VDIs (virtual disks) and give said disks to a VM they control. This is an arbitrary read and/or modify of files in dom0. * CVE-2026-23560: A vm-admin can set VM.other-config:is_system_domain and mark a VM as a system domain. System domains are ignored and left running during certain other host/pool operations, and may be hidden from view in tooling. * CVE-2026-23561: A vm-admin can set VM.other_config:storage_driver_domain and mark a VM as the storage domain for a particular host storage connection (PBD). Shutting down the VM can cause the PBD to be erroneously marked as unplugged when it is not. * CVE-2026-23562: Configuration of PCI passthrough is normally restricted to the pool-admin role. However one API was missing this check, allowing a vm-admin access to unintended host hardware. * CVE-2026-42486: A vm-admin can set the VM.platform:hvm_serial parameter, which should be restricted to the pool-admin role, as it can allow arbitrary dom0 file write.

HTML injection in Diagram tab and Graph view in Guardian/CMC before 26.2.0

A Stored HTML Injection vulnerability was discovered in the Diagram tab and Graph view due to a shared input validation function being insufficiently restrictive. An authenticated user with administrative privileges can inject malicious HTML tags into N2OS configuration data through multiple input vectors. When a victim views the affected data in the Diagram tab and Graph view, the injected HTML renders in their browser, enabling phishing and possibly open redirect attacks. Full XSS exploitation and direct information disclosure are prevented by the existing input validation and Content Security Policy configuration.

n8n: Prototype Pollution via Workflow Credentials Leads to Unauthenticated User and Project Enumeration

n8n is an open source workflow automation platform. Prior to 1.123.61, 2.27.4, and, 2.28.1, an authenticated user with the default workflow:create permission could pollute Object.prototype through a crafted workflow saved, updated, or imported via the workflow API, allowing unauthenticated requests to be treated as a privileged user and exposing user and project listing endpoints. Python Liquid: Infinite loop when parsing malformed `{% case %}` tags

Python Liquid is a Python engine for the Liquid template language. Prior to 2.2.1, given a malformed {% case %} tag without an associated {% when %} or {% else %} block and no terminating {% endcase %} tag, Python Liquid hangs in an infinite loop at parse time because liquid.TokenStream.eof did not give the EOF token matching kind and value fields, allowing malicious template authors to craft templates for a denial of service attack. n8n - Authorization Bypass in Public API Execution Retry Endpoint

n8n before 2.25.7 and 2.26.x before 2.26.2 contains an authorization bypass in the Public API execution retry endpoint, which authorizes access using the workflow:read scope instead of workflow:execute. An authenticated user with read-only access to a shared workflow can use the Public API to retry executions of that workflow, bypassing the intended permission boundary between read and execute access. This affects instances where workflows are shared with other users or across projects.

Fiber: X-Real-IP Spoofing via Header.Add() in BalancerForward

Fiber is an Express inspired web framework written in Go. Prior to 3.3.0 and 2.52.14, the BalancerForward proxy helper in middleware/proxy/proxy.go uses Header.Add() instead of Header.Set() when injecting X-Real-IP, allowing an attacker-supplied first X-Real-IP value to be forwarded to upstream servers for logging, rate limiting, and access control. Sandbox Escape in Ubuntu OpenJDK Packages via xdg-desktop-portal

A sandbox escape vulnerability exists in the OpenJDK packages provided in Ubuntu. The .jar MIME handlers installed by these packages execute files marked as executable when the mailcap package is installed. A compromised or malicious sandboxed application with access to the OpenURI portal via xdg-desktop-portal-gtk can write a malicious .jar file to the host file system, set its executable bit, and trigger the handler to execute arbitrary code outside of the sandbox environment.
