Remote Code Execution vulnerability in "Suspicious" application

A vulnerability in Thales CERT "Suspicious" application =< 1.3.4 allows a remote and unauthenticated attacker to execute arbitrary code and arbitrarily overwrite writable application files—including Python modules, configuration files, cron inputs, and runtime artifacts—leading to a persistent denial of service, the potential compromise of application secrets or integrations, and root-level execution inside the Django application container. This vulnerability has been names "Matryoshka Mail". Thales PSIRT acknowledges and thanks Lucien Doustaly (aka wlayzz) for discovering and reporting this issue.

ChurchCRM : Broken Access Control in `CSVCreateFile.php` Allows Low-Privileged Users to Export All Members' PII

ChurchCRM is an open-source church management system. Prior to version 7.4.0, a low-privileged user can bypass the /admin/export UI and exfiltrate the entire member directory. The POST /CSVCreateFile.php endpoint generates and streams a CSV containing the full Personally Identifiable Information (PII) of every Person/Family record in the database, without performing any feature-level or object-level authorization check beyond the coarse "has any admin permission" gate inherited from the legacy page bootstrap. In other words, any single non-admin permission flag is enough to reach the CSV bulk-export endpoint, even though such users should not have data export rights. The export script is missing a dedicated isAdmin() (or a new bExportData) authorization check of its own. This issue has been fixed in version 7.4.0.

osquery: Heap buffer overflow via `authenticode` table (Windows)

osquery is a SQL powered operating system instrumentation, monitoring, and analytics framework. Prior to 5.23.1, on Windows, a local unprivileged attacker can cause a heap buffer out-of-bounds write if there is a query of the authenticode table targeting a maliciously crafted binary, due to publisher information parsing in getOriginalProgramName. If exploited successfully, this could allow a potential local privilege escalation from standard user to SYSTEM. This issue is fixed in version 5.23.1.

osquery is a SQL powered operating system instrumentation, monitoring, and analytics framework. Prior to 5.23.1, on Windows, a local unprivileged attacker can cause a heap buffer out-of-bounds write if there is a query of the processes table targeting a maliciously crafted process, due to unchecked PEB string lengths in process command-line and current-directory reads. If exploited successfully, this could allow a potential local privilege escalation from standard user to SYSTEM. This issue is fixed in version 5.23.1.

Tutor LMS < 3.9.13 - Instructor+ Arbitrary Post Overwrite via IDOR

The Tutor LMS WordPress plugin before 3.9.13 does not verify that the requesting user is allowed to edit a target post before overwriting it in one of its content-builder save handlers, authorizing the request only against an unrelated identifier, allowing authenticated users with instructor-level access to overwrite and take over any post or page on the site, including those owned by administrators.
