RT: Privilege escalation and information disclosure via REST 2.0 user collection endpoint

RT is an open source, enterprise-grade issue and ticket tracking system. Versions prior to 5.0.10, 6.0.0 and above, prior to 6.0.3 contain an information disclosure and privilege escalation vulnerability in the REST 2.0 API. A privileged (non-administrative) user can obtain authentication credentials belonging to other users — including users with administrative privileges — and use those credentials to read data as those users via RT's feed endpoints. The same request that exposes the credentials also rotates them, invalidating previously-distributed feed URLs across the instance. This issue has been fixed in versions 5.0.10 and 6.0.3.

HeyForm: completeSubmission persists submitter-supplied hidden fields verbatim without validating against the form's declared hidden-field set

HeyForm is an open-source form builder. Prior to version 3.0.0-rc.9, `completeSubmission` accepts a `hiddenFields: [{id, name, value}]` array from the submitter and stores it verbatim in `submission.hiddenFields`, without validating the supplied `id`/`name` against the form's declared `form.hiddenFields` schema. An anonymous form submitter can therefore inject arbitrary key/value pairs (including XSS payloads, fake authorization metadata, integration-relevant values) into the stored submission. These fields are subsequently forwarded as-is to every webhook integration registered on the form. Version 3.0.0-rc.9 contains a patch for the issue.

accel/rocket: fix UAF via dangling GEM handle in create_bo

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: accel/rocket: fix UAF via dangling GEM handle in create_bo rocket_ioctl_create_bo() inserts a GEM handle into the file's IDR via drm_gem_handle_create() early on, then performs several operations that can fail (sgt allocation, drm_mm insert, iommu_map). If any fail after the handle is live, the error path calls drm_gem_shmem_object_free() which kfree's the object without removing the handle from the IDR. This leaves a dangling handle pointing to freed slab memory. Any subsequent ioctl using that handle (PREP_BO, FINI_BO, SUBMIT) calls drm_gem_object_lookup() and dereferences freed memory (UAF). Fix by moving drm_gem_handle_create() to after all fallible operations succeed, matching the pattern used by panfrost, lima, and etnaviv. Also fix drm_mm_insert_node_generic() whose return value was silently overwritten by iommu_map_sgtable() on the next line. Add the missing error check. [tomeu: Move handle creation to the very end]

Network-AI before 5.13.4 Cryptographic Signature Verification Bypass

Network-AI before 5.13.4 contains an improper cryptographic signature verification vulnerability in APSAdapter where the default local verifier accepts any non-empty string as valid. Unauthenticated attackers can submit forged APS delegation payloads with arbitrary scopes to bypass signature verification and obtain signed permission-grant tokens for sensitive resources including SHELL_EXEC.

NextCRM has BOLA/IDOR in MCP Campaign Tools that Allows Cross-User Campaign Disclosure and Tampering

NextCRM is open-source customer relationship management (CRM) software. In version 0.12.1, the MCP campaign tools expose campaign read and write operations over the network using user-generated Bearer API tokens (`nxtc__...`). The application has an authorization model that restricts normal users to campaigns they created, but multiple MCP campaign handlers ignore the authenticated user ID and query or mutate campaigns only by object ID. As a result, a low-privileged authenticated user with a valid MCP API token can enumerate all campaigns, read campaign details, update or delete campaigns owned by other users, modify campaign templates and steps, and potentially trigger or pause campaign delivery. Version 0.12.2 fixes the issue.

accel/qaic: Add overflow check to remap_pfn_range during mmap

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: accel/qaic: Add overflow check to remap_pfn_range during mmap The call to remap_pfn_range in qaic_gem_object_mmap is susceptible to (re)mapping beyond the VMA if the BO is too large. This can cause use after free issues when munmap() unmaps only the VMA region and not the additional mappings. To prevent this, check the remaining size of the VMA before remapping and truncate the remapped length if sg->length is too large. [jhugo: fix braces from checkpatch --strict]

KVM: Replace guest-triggerable BUG_ON() in ioeventfd datamatch with get_unaligned()

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: KVM: Replace guest-triggerable BUG_ON() in ioeventfd datamatch with get_unaligned() Drop a BUG_ON() that has been reachable since it was first added, way back in 2009, and instead use get_unaligned() to perform potentially-unaligned accesses. For a given store, KVM x86's emulator tracks the entire value in the destination operand, x86_emulate_ctxt.dst. If the destination is memory, and the target splits multiple pages and/or is emulated MMIO, then KVM handles each fragment independently. E.g. on a page split starting at page offset 0xffc, KVM writes 4 bytes to the first page, then the remaining bytes to the second page, using ctxt->dst as the source for both (with appropriate offsets). If the destination splits a page *and* hits emulated MMIO on the second page, then KVM will complete the write to the first page, then emulate the MMIO access to the second page. If there is a datamatch-enabled ioeventfd at offset 0 of the second page, then KVM will process the remainder of the store as a potential ioeventfd signal. Putting it all together, if the guest emits a store that splits a page starting at page offset N, and the second page has a datamatch-enabled ioeventfd at offset 0, then KVM will check for datamatch using &dst.valptr[N] as the source. Due to dst (and thus dst.valptr) being 32-byte aligned, if N is not aligned to @len, the BUG_ON() fires. E.g. with a 16-byte store at page offset 0xffc, to an ioeventfd of len 8, all initial checks in ioeventfd_in_range() will succeed, and the BUG_ON() fires due to @val being 4-byte aligned, but not 8-byte aligned. ------------[ cut here ]------------ kernel BUG at arch/x86/kvm/../../../virt/kvm/eventfd.c:783! Sadly, C99 ruins all the fun; while the x86 architecture plays nice, dereferencing an unaligned pointer directly is undefined behavior in C, e.g. triggers splats when running with CONFIG_UBSAN_ALIGNMENT=y.

i2c: stub: Reject I2C block transfers with invalid length

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: i2c: stub: Reject I2C block transfers with invalid length The I2C_SMBUS_I2C_BLOCK_DATA case in stub_xfer() uses data->block[0] as the transfer length. The existing check only clamps it to avoid overrunning the chip->words[256] register array, but does not validate it against I2C_SMBUS_BLOCK_MAX (32), which is the limit of the union i2c_smbus_data.block buffer (34 bytes total). The driver is a development/test tool (CONFIG_I2C_STUB=m, not built by default) that must be loaded with a chip_addr= parameter. A local user with access to /dev/i2c-* can issue an I2C_SMBUS ioctl with I2C_SMBUS_I2C_BLOCK_DATA and data->block[0] > 32, causing stub_xfer() to read or write past the end of the union i2c_smbus_data.block buffer: BUG: KASAN: stack-out-of-bounds in stub_xfer (drivers/i2c/i2c-stub.c:223) Read of size 1 at addr ffff88800abcfd92 by task exploit/81 Call Trace: <TASK> stub_xfer (drivers/i2c/i2c-stub.c:223) __i2c_smbus_xfer (drivers/i2c/i2c-core-smbus.c:593) i2c_smbus_xfer (drivers/i2c/i2c-core-smbus.c:536) i2cdev_ioctl_smbus (drivers/i2c/i2c-dev.c:391) i2cdev_ioctl (drivers/i2c/i2c-dev.c:478) __x64_sys_ioctl (fs/ioctl.c:583) do_syscall_64 (arch/x86/entry/syscall_64.c:94) entry_SYSCALL_64_after_hwframe (arch/x86/entry/entry_64.S:130) </TASK> The bug exists because i2c-stub implements .smbus_xfer directly, bypassing the I2C_SMBUS_BLOCK_MAX validation in i2c_smbus_xfer_emulated(). The I2C_SMBUS_BLOCK_DATA case in the same function correctly validates against I2C_SMBUS_BLOCK_MAX, but the I2C_SMBUS_I2C_BLOCK_DATA case does not. Fix by rejecting transfers with data->block[0] == 0 or data->block[0] > I2C_SMBUS_BLOCK_MAX with -EINVAL, consistent with both the I2C_SMBUS_BLOCK_DATA case in the same function and the I2C_SMBUS_I2C_BLOCK_DATA validation in i2c_smbus_xfer_emulated().

net/smc: Do not re-initialize smc hashtables

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/smc: Do not re-initialize smc hashtables INIT_HLIST_HEAD(&smc_v*_hashinfo.ht) are called after smc_nl_init(), proto_register() and sock_register(). This can lead to smc_v*_hashinfo.ht being reset even though hash entries already exist and are being used, possibly resulting in a corrupted list. Remove unnecessary and dangerous re-initialisation of smc_v*_hashinfo.ht in smc_init(); it is implicitly initialised to zero anyhow. Add HLIST_HEAD_INIT to the definitions for clarity.
