Pki-core: dogtag/pki: certprofile-import allows code execution via unsanitized profile content (externalprocessconstraint)

A flaw was found in Dogtag PKI, as used by FreeIPA's certificate authority component. The certificate profile import functionality does not fully validate uploaded profile content beyond the profile ID. An authenticated user with CA Administrator privileges can exploit Dogtag's ExternalProcessConstraint mechanism to execute arbitrary commands with attacker-controlled environment variables, achieving code execution as the pkiuser account.

Pki-core: dogtag-pki: empty request to dogtag /ca/rest/certrequests causes http 500, java exception, and stacktrace disclosure

An Apache-proxied Dogtag CA REST endpoint exposed by IdM (POST /ca/rest/certrequests) returns HTTP 500 with internal Java stack traces for unauthenticated malformed requests. The same unauthenticated error path emits large multi-line stack traces into the CA debug log, creating a log-amplification resource exhaustion vector (disk growth and I/O contention) without requiring authentication.

Pki-core: dogtag-pki: unauthenticated dogtag ca rest api exposes security domain hosts

An unauthenticated client can query the Security Domain hosts inventory via GET /ca/rest/securityDomain/hosts and receive a structured response enumerating internal PKI/CA hosts and roles (security domain topology and participating subsystems), without requiring a principal, client certificate, or session.

Dogtag-pki: pki-core: redhat-pki: pki: acme http-01 validation ssrf via ip literal identifiers and unvalidated redirects

A flaw was found in Dogtag PKI's ACME responder where the HTTP-01 challenge validator accepts IP address literals as dns identifiers and follows HTTP redirects without validating that the target is a public address. An unauthenticated ACME account holder can exploit this to perform server-side request forgery (SSRF), making the Dogtag server send HTTP GET requests to internal network services. With the InMemory database backend, the response body of internal targets is disclosed to the attacker through the ACME challenge error.

Dogtag-pki: pki-core: redhat-pki: pki: acme admin enable/disable endpoint authentication bypass via trailing slash

A flaw was found in Dogtag PKI's ACME responder where the web.xml security constraints use exact URL pattern matching for admin-only enable/disable endpoints. By appending a trailing slash to the URL, an unauthenticated attacker can bypass the Tomcat authentication constraint while RESTEasy still routes the request to the handler, allowing unauthorized toggling of the ACME service state including persistent denial of service.

Pki-core: dogtag-pki: redhat-pki: pki-core: ca renewal request processing omits realm authorization check performed by enrollment path

A flaw was found in pki-core. The certificate authority (CA) renewal request path does not perform the realm-based authorization check that the enrollment path performs, allowing an authenticated user entitled to one realm to cause a certificate belonging to a different realm to be renewed without that realm's authorization.

Rhcs: memory leak during https connection leads to denial of service

An unauthenticated attacker could trigger an Out of Memory condition to crash the Java process for RHCS by repeatedly sending HTTP requests to the TLS endpoint. Depending on how the RHCS server is configured, a manual intervention to restart it may prove necessary.
